Fathom Voice Names Bracken Fields Executive VP of Research & Development

Fathom Voice has announced the role change of their Co-Founder, Bracken Fields, from CFO to Executive Vice President of Research and Development. This is the latest move in a string of new hires for the Indianapolis-based communications company, after adding industry experience to their team with their new VP of Sales, Tom Judkins and Executive VP of Sales and Marketing, Scott Goodwin. The move will be effective March 1st and Fields will take over the roles and responsibilities of this new position.

Mr. Fields had this to say about the new position, “This move is something I have been planning since last autumn. With a few more hires being announced soon I am able to move from a bookkeeping role to a very strategic planning role. EVP of R&D will sit at the intersection of development, sales and marketing.”

As the Executive VP of Research and Development, Bracken’s first task will be implanting lean manufacturing techniques into software development. Followed closely with implementing marketing automation software into our products and practices. “I am working closely with the team at Right On Interactive; to shorten sales cycles and contact the best prospects with the perfect message” Fields added.

Emily Hoover, Director of Operations, explained the position change, “This is another step in the right direction for the company. When the guys founded Fathom Voice we needed Bracken in the CFO position, but over the previous two years we have seen tremendous growth and we knew it was time for a change. This allows Bracken to be in the best possible position to help take our company to the next level as we continue to grow in the VoIP marketplace.“

To recap, Fathom Voice Co-Founder, Bracken Fields, has moved from acting CFO to the new Executive VP of Research and Development. This change will be effective March 1st and the roles and responsibilities of this position assumed by Mr. Fields.
