Evolve IP, The Cloud Services Company™, today announced that Scott Kinka, CTO and founding partner of Evolve IP was named to the 2013 Philadelphia Business Journal’s prestigious ‘40 Under 40’ list. Mr. Kinka was recognized for his professional excellence, charitable contributions and community involvement. The 40 Under 40 award, now in its 23rd year, recognizes select young professionals in the Philadelphia region. Mr. Kinka was selected from among 250 talented nominees.
In 2007, as a founding partner of Evolve IP, Mr. Kinka was instrumental in the business plan and funding of the organization. He also designed the company’s unified product suite of cloud services – a concept that still has not been replicated in the nation. This unique, award-winning architecture allows an organization to migrate all of their IT infrastructure and applications to a single, geographically redundant cloud platform reducing costs and eliminating the need to manage multiple vendors.
Over the next few years as business began to migrate their servers, desktops, phone systems, and call centers to the cloud, Scott’s innovative approach proved to be incredibly successful. Today, Evolve IP employs over 85 individuals and has helped over 800 businesses move to the cloud. Perhaps an even better testament to the company’s platform is the customer retention rate which pushes well into the upper 90s.
Mr. Kinka is the third member of Evolve IP’s senior management team to receive this impressive recognition. Previously Thomas Gravina , Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder along with Guy Fardone, COO, General Manager and founding partner were also recipients.
“We are incredibly proud of Scott for this well-deserved recognition,” said Mr. Gravina. “Scott’s technical vision, architectural innovation and dedication has led Evolve IP to numerous awards and helped us to grow quickly into an Inc. 500 company. He also truly represents the culture of the company by actively volunteering his time to numerous charities and sitting on boards dedicated to promoting growth in the Philadelphia region.”
